IT support for small businesses in Charlotte
Short answer: Month-to-month IT support for Charlotte small businesses: help desk, updates, backups, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. From $79 per user a month, or 25 an hour.
A reliable person for the everyday problems, and a quiet check on the things that hurt when they fail.
IT support from Steady Hand IT costs $79 per user per month for Starter Care (remote help desk, updates, backup checks, minimum 3 users) or $129 for Full Care, which adds security management and a quarterly review. Single jobs are $125 an hour. Everything is month to month.
What I take care of
Everyday help
Slow laptops, printers, Wi-Fi, email, software that will not install, a person who cannot sign in. Remote first, onsite in the Charlotte area when it helps.
Accounts and access
New-hire setup, same-day removal when someone leaves, shared mailboxes, permissions, and a shared password vault.
Updates and backups
Operating systems and key apps kept current. Backups checked on a schedule, with a real test restore at least twice a year.
Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
Setup, cleanup, migration, security settings, and getting the licenses you actually need instead of the ones you were sold.

Honest limits: I am one person. Help desk replies come within one business day, not in minutes, and there is no 24/7 on-call line. If your business cannot tolerate that, a larger provider is the right choice.
